A Cheyenne Police Department Background Check and a State of Wyoming Division of Criminal
Investigation Background Check must be provided before the application will be processed. The
background check documents will become a part of the application and will be used to determine eligibility.
A credit report wil be obtained on all applicants and will be used in determining eligibility for residency.
